The Stone Bridge Girls Varsity soccer team suffered a 2-3 overtime loss to McLean on Tuesday night. With eleven minutes remaining in the first half, junior Alyssa Choo took a corner kick for the Bulldogs. Freshman Amy Thompson was there to score and put the Bulldogs on the board. McLean scored an equalizer goal three minutes later. In the second half, Choo had another corner kick opportunity and this time sophomore Maggie Swain was there to finish the ball for the goal. With seconds remaining in the game, McLean scored again to send the game into overtime. McLean scored during the first overtime period to earn the win. Senior Hailey Corpe had 8 saves in goal. The Bulldogs will host the Robinson Rams on Friday night.
