Coach Sterling is beyond thrilled to join the Bulldog Coaching staff for the 2016-2017 school year. She has a daughter who is a sophomore at Stone Bridge and a son who is an 8th grader at Trailside. Her family are big sports fans. Between the four of them, they have have 7 different fantasy football teams. Being from Pittsburgh, the Steelers, Pirates and Penguins are her favorite sport teams.  

Coach Sterling earned her Bachelors degree from Penn State in Health Education and Exercise and Sport Science. She also spent 10 years in the computer software industry before teaching in the public schools. As a licensed teacher in Business Education, Family & Consumer Science and Marketing, she spent two years teaching Career Technology at the Pittsburgh Science & Technology Academy, and one year at Belmont Ridge Middle School teaching Health & PE.  

Coach Sterling has cheered from 7th grade through her freshman year in college, and has over 10 years coaching experience leading the youth cheerleaders of Ashburn and Pittsburgh.

As JV Cheer coach, Coach Sterling is looking forward to guiding the talented cheerleaders and providing spirit for the school. Go Bulldogs! *\0/*
