Coach Kayla Tompkins is in her second year coaching at Stone Bridge.  Previously, Coach Tompkins served as a Junior Varsity Coach for Broad Run High School and Eastern Loudoun Youth Lacrosse League Coach.  In addition to coaching, she works in Northern Virginia.

Originally from Ashburn, Virginia, Coach Kayla is a proud product of Stone Bridge High School and graduated in 2006.  In her tenure at Stone Bridge, Coach Kayla was a three year varsity starter, co-captain, all district player recipient, all metropolitan player recipient, and all region player recipient.  After graduation Coach Kayla was recruited by Indiana University of Pennsylvania (Division II) to play defense. After the completion of her sophomore year, Coach Kayla transferred to Radford University and went on to play at the Club Level for two years, where she was a starting midfielder.   Coach Tompkins graduated from Radford in 2010 with a Business Administration Management degree.
