Tryouts Feb 24 - 28:

We will have at least 3 days of tryouts starting on Feb 24. Each tryout day will last from 4:30 to 6 at the Stone Bridge courts. Depending on turnout, we might use all 5 days for tryouts. I will be evaluating players on their athleticism, skill, and character.

Participation in a varsity sport requires full participation. The expectation is that you will attend every practice and every match (2 or more unexcused absences are grounds for dismissal). Please only tryout for the team if you know you will fully commit to practices/matches 5 days a week until mid May.

Must do before Feb 24:

1. Register for tennis on the Stone Bridge Athletics website https://sbhs-ar.rschooltoday.com/ 

2. Turn in proof of Physical Examination by a doctor to either Ms. Joan Windows (room 915) or the main office.

Starting in September, I will host OPTIONAL round-robin style tennis for all players interested in trying out for the team. (both for the girls and boys). These will take place at noon on the first Saturday of each month (Sep 7 will be the first, then Oct 5, etc) at the Stone Bridge courts and will last for ~2.5 hrs. I am hosting these to build enthusiasm for the approaching season and so that players can meet each other. PLEASE forward this information to as many people as possible who you know are interested in tennis. These are OPTIONAL and your attendance will not impact the try out process whatsoever.
