The young SBHS golf team had a tough day at the Forest Greens course as part of the 5A North Regional Tournament held October 1, 2013.    Stone Bridge congratulates Briar Woods High School for advancing to the State Tournament.   The Stone Bridge players are committed to competing at a higher level and making it to the State Tournament.

Eli Robertson was named the SBHS Golf Team's 2013 Most Valuable player having shot the most scores in the 30"s in matches and earning the fourth place medalist position at the Conference Tournament on Sept. 17, 2013 where he shot 75.

Brandon Locke was given the Special Coaches award for his technical skills, low scoring and team leadership during the 2013 season.  Brandon shot a 79 at the Loudoun County Public Schools Tournament at the 1757 Golf Course on August 14, 2013.

The starting four SBHS golfers' average scores were within 1.3 strokes of each other for competitive play in matches for the 2013 season.   SBHS finished the season with 6 wins, 3 losses, a second place finish in the George Pavlis Memorial Tournament and a third place finish in the Conference Tournament.  They are the first SBHS team to advance to the Regional Tournament.  SBHS will likely return 10 of our 11 team members next year with our senior, Tyler Starr, graduating in 2014.  The young SBHS team shows great potential for improvement across the team in future years.
