The Stone Bridge Bulldog Golfers won the annual George Pavlis Memorial Tournament, on August 11, 2014.  The Tournament was sponsored by McLean High School and was held this year at Hidden Creek Country Club in Reston, VA.   The Bulldogs won the Championship through the four lowest scores of five participating team members.   Stone Bridge scored a total of 316 as follows:   Eli Robertson, 77;  Jackson Flynn, 78; Brandon Locke, 79; and Logan Goodrich, 82.   Abby Bloom scored a 95. 

The entire Stone Bridge team had difficulty with the front nine at Hidden Creek.  Remarkably, every player rebounded on the back nine shooting a combined low score of five over par to win the championship!  Other high schools participating in this tournament were:  McLean, Woodson, Hayfield, Marshall, West Springfield, Annandale, Falls Church, Herndon, and Wakefield.  

Eli Robertson finished the tournament field as third place low score medalist.  Stone Bridge finished in second place in this tournament in 2013 and is proud to have won this year.  Thanks to McLean HS and the Pavlis family for this well run and enjoyable tournament.
