The Stone Bridge Bulldog golfers defeated a very good Tuscarora High School golf team this afternoon by a score of 319 to 330 at our home course, Belmont Country Club.  The 18 hole match was played on a hot but comfortable afternoon.   Scoring for Stone Bridge occurred as follows:   Connor Steggerda, 78;  Max Carollo, 79;  Paul Thoppil, 80 Matt Kapusta 82.   Also playing well for Stone Bridge, Cam Bender shot 82 and Justin Lisciandro shot 93.   Alternate player for Stone Bridge, Campbell Johnson shot 99.   Connor Steggerda, Max Carollo and Matt Kapusta shot their lowest rounds for the 2016 golf season.   Cam Bender played resiliently as did Justin Lisciandro.   Low medalist for the match was Freshman, Mike Brennan of Tuscarora who shot an even par 72, while playing the Belmont course for the first time.

The Stone Bridge golf team is 1-0 in matches this season. 

The Bulldog golfers accomplished nine more birdies during this round of golf, bringing our season total to 25.  Tonight's birdies were made as follows:   Matt Kapusta, 3; Cam Bender, 2; Justin Lisciandro, 2; Max Carollo, 1; and, Connor Steggerda, 1.
