Both Abby Bloom an Anjali Kumar represented Stone Bridge High School well today at the Girls B Zone 4 Qualifier Tournament, held at the Shenandoah Golf Course in White Post, VA.  This tournament qualifed the top 6 of 28 participating girls (20%), for the Girls' State Open Championship.

Anjali, playing in her first qualifier tournament shot a 102 and learned much from this experience.  Her score was just about in the middle of the participating players where scores ranged from 76 to 133 for the par 73 course.  Great job Anjali.  Your experience today will help you in next year's post season tournaments.

Abby Bloom shot a second place 78, or five over par score, after posting a three under par, 34 on the par 37 front nine.  Abby had at one point in the round, four one putts on a row and overall birdied four of the front nine holes.   Abby will now get ready to represent Stone Bridge High School and her Ashburn community at the State Girls Open, to be held next Monday and Tuesday at the International Country Club, in Chantilly, VA.  We wish Abby all the best as she moves forward.  Great job Abby!
