The Bulldogs came out strong once again for their second meet of their “double header weekend” on Saturday December 14^th when they swam against Madison High School.

First up was the 200 Medley Relay. On the boys side the relay team of Auerbach, Marron, Kost and Davidson took 2^nd, the team of Laws, Ulloa, Eng and Spencer took 5^th, Fitzgerald, King, McArdle and Bergstrom took 6^th and the team of Spahr, Birsic, Cheung and Shaikh took 8^th.

For the girls, the team of Jachimowski, Mandgroc, Coon and Oh took 1^st and the team of McKenzie, Wilson, Hughes and Stone took 4^th.

Then came the 200 Freestyle and for the boys, Chris Davidson, George Birsic, Nate Wooley and Kai Ulloa took 4^th, 6^th, 7^th and 8^th respectively. And on the girls side, Michaela Wilson, Madeline Masi, Hannah Simmons and Maya Scott took 2^nd, 6^th, 7^th and 8^th respectively.

It was then time for the 200 Individual Medley. Michael Kost came in 2^nd, Luke Bergstrom came in 6^th and David King came in 7^th.

For the girls, Heather Stone took 2^nd, Abby Tenshaw took 6^th, Sam Wooley took 7^th and Maria Keener took 8^th for the Bulldogs.

Next up came the only individual sprint event of the meet: the 50 free. For the boys, Danny Marron took 5^th, Ryan Spencer took 6^th, Austin Laws took 7^th and Nate Wooley took 8^th. On the girls side,  Rebecca Oh placed 1^st, Hannah Simmons placed 5^th, Stephanie Hutecker took 6^th and Casey Rick took 8^th.

            At the break the score on the boys side was 78-27 in favor of the Warhawks. On the girls side the score was 87-41 also in favor of the Warhawks.

            The first event after the break was the 100 Butterfly. Swimming for the boys was Micheal Kost, Chris Davidson, Jacob Auerbach and Marijo Betoja placing 1^st, 2^nd, 6^th and 8^th respectively. For the girls, Lisa McKenzie, Jordan Trent, Jada McFadden and Callie Hughes swam with Lisa taking 3^rd, Jordan taking 5^th, Jada taking 7^th and Callie taking 8^th.

            Right after the 100 fly came the 100 yard freestyle. For the boys, Matthew Greason took 5^th, Ryan Cheung took 6^th, Zach Silvasy took 7^th and Josh Xu took 8^th. For the girls, Rebecca Oh placed 1^st, Elizabeth Mandgroc took 3^rd, Maria Keener took 7^th and Isi Keener took 8^th.

            Up next was the longest event of the night, the 500 freestyle. For the boys, Aiden Fitzgerald took 5^th, Coles Wetmore took 6^th, Grant Vazin took 7^th and Zach Spahr took 8^th.

            On the girls side,  Lindsey Jachimowski took 1^st, Alyssa Coon took 2^nd, Lisa MacKenzie took 5^th and Jordan Trent took 7^th.

            After the 500 came the 200 Freestyle Relay. For the boys, the relay team of Davidson, Spencer, Eng and Marron took 3^rd, the relay team of Ulloa, Wetmore, McArdle and Greason took 6^th, Beloja, Enriquez, Walton and Silvasy took 7^th and Xu, Cheung, Shaikh and Wooley took 8^th.

            For the girls, the team of Hughes, MacKenzie, Wilson and Stone took 3^rd, the team of Boyles, McFadden, Masi and Trent took 4^th, M.Keener, Hutecker, Tenshaw and Wooley took 7^th and the team of Scott, Rick, Simmons and I. Keener took 8^th.

            In the 100 backstroke, Aiden Fitzgerald took 5^th for the Bulldogs, followed by Luke Bergstrom taking 6^th and George Birsic taking 7^th. Lindsey Jachimowski took 1^st for the girls followed by Elizabeth Mandgroc taking 4^th, Heather Stone placing 7^th and Callie Hughes taking 8^th.

            Next came the 100 breaststroke. On the boys side, Danny Marron took 1^st, followed by Grant Vazin, Kyle Enriquez and Matthew Greason taking 6^th, 7^th and 8^th respectively. For the girls it was Michaela Wilson, Alyssa Coon and Sam Wooley taking 1^st, 2^nd and 7^th respectively.

            The final event of the night, the 400 freestyle relay had the boys relay team of Auerbach, King, Laws and Kost placing 4^th, the team of Vazin, Greason, Bergstrom and Wetmore taking 6^th, the team of Fitzgerald, Birsic, Spahr and Enriquez taking 7^th and the team of Silvasy, Shaikh, Wooley and Xu taking 8^th.

            For the girls, the Bulldogs had the relay team of Jachimowski, Mandrgoc, Coon and Oh taking 1^st place, the relay team of Boyles, Rick, Wooley and Trent taking 6^th and the team of I. Keener, Simmons, Masi and McFadden taking 7^th.

            The final score of the night for the boys was 227 to 78 in favor of Madison. The final score of the night for the girls was 186 to 123 also in favor of Madison.

            The team has one more meet next Saturday against Langley High School before Winter Break.

Congratulations to Rebecca Oh for getting Swimmer of the Meet and placing 1st in both her individual events and both relays she was a part of. Way to go Rebecca!
