The Bulldogs came out strong once again for their second meet of their “double header weekend” on Saturday December 14th when they swam against Madison High School.

First up was the 200 Medley Relay. On the boys side the relay team of Auerbach, Marron, Kost and Davidson took 2nd, the team of Laws, Ulloa, Eng and Spencer took 5th, Fitzgerald, King, McArdle and Bergstrom took 6th and the team of Spahr, Birsic, Cheung and Shaikh took 8th.

For the girls, the team of Jachimowski, Mandgroc, Coon and Oh took 1st and the team of McKenzie, Wilson, Hughes and Stone took 4th.

Then came the 200 Freestyle and for the boys, Chris Davidson, George Birsic, Nate Wooley and Kai Ulloa took 4th, 6th, 7th and 8th respectively. And on the girls side, Michaela Wilson, Madeline Masi, Hannah Simmons and Maya Scott took 2nd, 6th, 7th and 8th respectively.

It was then time for the 200 Individual Medley. Michael Kost came in 2nd, Luke Bergstrom came in 6th and David King came in 7th.

For the girls, Heather Stone took 2nd, Abby Tenshaw took 6th, Sam Wooley took 7th and Maria Keener took 8th for the Bulldogs.

Next up came the only individual sprint event of the meet: the 50 free. For the boys, Danny Marron took 5th, Ryan Spencer took 6th, Austin Laws took 7th and Nate Wooley took 8th. On the girls side,  Rebecca Oh placed 1st, Hannah Simmons placed 5th, Stephanie Hutecker took 6th and Casey Rick took 8th.

            At the break the score on the boys side was 78-27 in favor of the Warhawks. On the girls side the score was 87-41 also in favor of the Warhawks.

            The first event after the break was the 100 Butterfly. Swimming for the boys was Micheal Kost, Chris Davidson, Jacob Auerbach and Marijo Betoja placing 1st, 2nd, 6th and 8th respectively. For the girls, Lisa McKenzie, Jordan Trent, Jada McFadden and Callie Hughes swam with Lisa taking 3rd, Jordan taking 5th, Jada taking 7th and Callie taking 8th.

            Right after the 100 fly came the 100 yard freestyle. For the boys, Matthew Greason took 5th, Ryan Cheung took 6th, Zach Silvasy took 7th and Josh Xu took 8th. For the girls, Rebecca Oh placed 1st, Elizabeth Mandgroc took 3rd, Maria Keener took 7th and Isi Keener took 8th.

            Up next was the longest event of the night, the 500 freestyle. For the boys, Aiden Fitzgerald took 5th, Coles Wetmore took 6th, Grant Vazin took 7th and Zach Spahr took 8th.

            On the girls side,  Lindsey Jachimowski took 1st, Alyssa Coon took 2nd, Lisa MacKenzie took 5th and Jordan Trent took 7th.

            After the 500 came the 200 Freestyle Relay. For the boys, the relay team of Davidson, Spencer, Eng and Marron took 3rd, the relay team of Ulloa, Wetmore, McArdle and Greason took 6th, Beloja, Enriquez, Walton and Silvasy took 7th and Xu, Cheung, Shaikh and Wooley took 8th.

            For the girls, the team of Hughes, MacKenzie, Wilson and Stone took 3rd, the team of Boyles, McFadden, Masi and Trent took 4th, M.Keener, Hutecker, Tenshaw and Wooley took 7th and the team of Scott, Rick, Simmons and I. Keener took 8th.

            In the 100 backstroke, Aiden Fitzgerald took 5th for the Bulldogs, followed by Luke Bergstrom taking 6th and George Birsic taking 7th. Lindsey Jachimowski took 1st for the girls followed by Elizabeth Mandgroc taking 4th, Heather Stone placing 7th and Callie Hughes taking 8th.

            Next came the 100 breaststroke. On the boys side, Danny Marron took 1st, followed by Grant Vazin, Kyle Enriquez and Matthew Greason taking 6th, 7th and 8th respectively. For the girls it was Michaela Wilson, Alyssa Coon and Sam Wooley taking 1st, 2nd and 7th respectively.

            The final event of the night, the 400 freestyle relay had the boys relay team of Auerbach, King, Laws and Kost placing 4th, the team of Vazin, Greason, Bergstrom and Wetmore taking 6th, the team of Fitzgerald, Birsic, Spahr and Enriquez taking 7th and the team of Silvasy, Shaikh, Wooley and Xu taking 8th.

            For the girls, the Bulldogs had the relay team of Jachimowski, Mandrgoc, Coon and Oh taking 1st place, the relay team of Boyles, Rick, Wooley and Trent taking 6th and the team of I. Keener, Simmons, Masi and McFadden taking 7th.

            The final score of the night for the boys was 227 to 78 in favor of Madison. The final score of the night for the girls was 186 to 123 also in favor of Madison.

            The team has one more meet next Saturday against Langley High School before Winter Break.

Congratulations to Rebecca Oh for getting Swimmer of the Meet and placing 1st in both her individual events and both relays she was a part of. Way to go Rebecca!
