On Friday January 10th, the Bulldogs returned to the pool to take on McLean High School in their first meet of the new year. 
    First up was the 200 Medley Relay. The boys team of Auerbach, Marron, Davidson and  Kost took 3rd, Fitzgerald, Vazin, Eng and Birsic took 5th and the team of McArdle, King, Wetmore and Nguyen took 6th. 
    On the girls side, the team of MacKenzie, Hughes, Madgroc and Wilson took 4th followed by the team of Boyles, Wooley, Tenshaw and Hutecker taking 6th and Quicneo, I. Keener, McFadden and Scott taking 7th. 
    In the boys 200 Freestyle, Chris Davidson took 1st followed by Jake Eng in 6th, Grant Vazin in 7th and Marijo Beltoja coming in 8th. 
    The girls completed a 1-2-3 sweep of the event with Lindsey Jachimowski, Lizzy Mandgroc and Michaela Wilson taking 1st, 2nd and 3rd respectively. Stepheni Hutecker followed behind them taking 8th.  
    Up next the boys had Michael Kost coming in 2nd in the 50 Free, Ryan Spencer coming in 3rd, Chris Davidson coming in 5th and Zach Silvasy coming in 8th. 
    On the girls side, Rebecca Oh came in 1st, Heather Stone took 4th, Lisa MacKenzie took 7th and Maria Keener took 8th.  
    After the break it was time for the 100 Yard Butterfly. Michael Kost grabbed 1st with Marron, McArdle and Enriquez coming in 2nd, 7th and 8th respectively. 
    For the girls, Alyssa Coon placed 1st followed by Lisa MacKenzie and Sam Wooley in 5th and 8th respectively.  
    Up next, in the boys 100 Yard Freestyle, Ryan Spencer took 5th for the Bulldogs, Austin Laws took 6th, George Birsic took 7th and Kai Ulloa took 8th. 
    On the girls side, Rebecca Oh placed 1st, Heather Stone placed 5th, Callie Hughes placed 6th and Hannah Simmons placed 8th.  
    Then it was time for the longest event of the night, the 500 Yard Freestyle. Jacob Auerbach came in 3rd, Aiden Fitzgerald came in 6th, Coles Wetmore came in 7th and Nate Wooley came in 8th. 
    Lindsey Jachimowski came in 2nd for the girls, followed by Madeline Masi in 6th, Casey Rick in 7th and Isi Keener in 8th.  
    For the boys 200 Yard Freestyle Relay, the team of Laws, Nguyen, Bergstrom and Spencer took 4th,  the team of Wetmore, McArdle, King and Eng took 6th, the team of Enriquez, Ulloa, Vazin and Birsic took 7th and the team of Silvasy, Spahr, Shaikh and Nguyen took 8th. 
    For the girls, the team of Coon, Stone, Jachimowski and Oh took 1st, the team of Mandgroc, Wilson, MacKenzie and Hughes took 3rd and the team of Masi, Hutecker, Simmons and M. Keener took 7th. 
    In the boys 100 Yard Backstroke, Jacob Auerbach took 3rd, Austin Laws took 5th, Adien Fitzgerald took 7th and Jake Eng took 8th. 
    In the girls 100 Yard Backstroke Callie Hughes took 3rd, Abby Tenshaw took 4th, Maria Keener took 7th and Jada McFadden took 8th. 
    In the boys 100 Yard Breaststroke, Danny Marron, Luke Bergstrom, Grant Vazin and George Birsic took 4th, 6th, 7th and 8th respectively for the boys. 
    For the girls, Lizzy Mandgroc took 3rd, Michaela Wilson took 4th, Madeline Masi took 7th and Sam Wooley took 8th. 
    In the final event of the night, the 400 Yard Freestyle Relay, the boys team of Davidson, Auerbach, Marron and Kost took 1st followed by the team of Laws, Fitzgerald, Bergstrom and Spencer taking 6th, the team of Wooley, Shaikh, Walton and Ulloa taking 7th and the team of Silvasy, Enriquez, Beltoja and Xu taking 8th. 
    On the girls side, the team of Coon, Stone, Jachimowski and Oh took 1st, the team of Wooley, M. Keener, McFadden and Boyles took 6th and the team of Tenshaw, Rick, I. Keener and Simmons took 7th. 
    The final score for the boys was 194-92 in favor of McLean and the final score for the girls was 168-118 also in favor of McLean.
