The Lady Bulldogs were the runners up for the Conference 14 Championship Swim meet on Friday, January 24th at Claude Moore Rec Center.  Stone Bridge Women's swim team fell to Freedom HS by 19 points Friday night with Broad Run only 1 point behind them.  The Men's team took 6th place at the meet.  Both teams had great races throughout the night.

I will distribute the results from the Conference 14 meet through email when I receive them.  I want to congratulate everyone on a season well done.  All the swimmers showed some great improvements throughout the season.  I was pleased with the swims we were able to have after a week off from school and practices.  We saw a lot of best times yesterday, I hope you all are proud of yourselves and your team.  

We're excited to send the following relay teams to Regionals: the Men's 200 Medley Relay of Jacob Auerbach, Danny Marron, Michael Kost, & Chris Davidson, the Women's 200 Medley Relay of Lindsey Jachimowski, Lizzie Mandrgoc, Alyssa Coon, & Rebecca Oh, the Women's 200 Free Relay of Lizzie Mandrgoc, Michaela Wilson, Callie Hughes, & Heather Stone, the Men's 400 Free Relay of Danny Marron, Austin Laws, Chris Davidson, & Michael Kost, and the Women's 400 Free Relay of Rebecca Oh, Lindsey Jachimowski, Heather Stone, & Alyssa Coon.  

The following individuals will also be representing Stone Bridge Bulldogs in their individual events at Regionals: Miachael Kost in the 200 & 500 Free, Danny Marron in the 200 IM & 100 Breast, Lindsey Jachimowski in the 200 & 500 Free, Rebecca Oh in the 50 & 100 Free, Alyssa Coon in the 100 Fly, and Lizzie Mandrgoc in the 500 Free & 100 Breast.

Lets support our teammates through these next few weeks of training while they prepare for their relays and individual events at regionals, which will take place on Friday, February 7th at the Freedom Center in Manassas, VA.  Again, great job Bulldogs!
