The Stone Bridge girls’ soccer team earned another victory at home with a 2-0 win over Marshall. The Bulldogs scored less than 8 minutes into the game. Senior Annie Bokulic passed the ball to Junior Lauren Brower who shot the ball into the corner of the goal for her first goal of the season. With five minutes left in the first half, the game was delayed for twenty minutes as lights in the stadium went out. In the second half, Sophomore Alyssa Choo crossed the ball into the goal mouth and Junior Hayley Berry headed the ball past the keeper for the final goal of the night. Junior goalkeeper Hailey Corpe earned a shutout and recorded 1 save. Senior defenders Kaitlyn Lowrey and Megan Della Penna, along with along with Sophomore Briana Alston and freshman Navie Sohi contributed to the Bulldog’s shutout.
With the win, the Bulldogs move to 5-0 in the season. They will be on spring break next week and will return to play on Tuesday, April 22nd when they host South Lakes.
