Boys Varsity Soccer vs. SOUTH COUNTY SECONDARY

Congratulations to the boys soccer team as they came from behind to beat South County 2-1 at home on Monday night. South County took the lead 7 minutes into the game but the Bulldogs kept fighting and came back and tied the score with 3 seconds left in the first half as Senior forward Tyler Anderson scored off a header from a long throw-in from Junior Forward Eamon Finan.

In the second half Stone Bridge was pushing for the go ahead goal coming close on several runs into the final third the final 20 minutes of the game. With 1:03 left on the clock Senior forward Josh Dajani scored off a long restart into box from Senior Eamon Finan (two assists on the night) to give the Bulldogs the win. Senior goalkeeper Gene Yim recorded nine saves on the night with a couple of key saves coming in both halves.

With the win the team's overall record now stands at 2-0-1 on the season. The boys will play again tomorrow at crosstown rival Broad Run which is part of a varsity girls and boys double header. The girls team will kick off at 5:30 and the boys at 7:15.
