The Stone Bridge boys soccer team traveled to Langley on Tuesday in their fourth Liberty District game and fell to the Saxons by a score of 3-1. Langley took the lead less than 14 minutes into the game but the Bulldogs fought right back to tie the score less than two minutes later with junior Forward Kyle Kuhfahl scoring the equalizing goal on an assist from senior forward Tyler Anderson.
The score into halftime was knotted at 1-1. Langley came out quickly and took the lead by scoring goals six minutes into the second half and with just over 20 minutes to play. Stone Bridge had a few near chances to pull the score back but could not break through so with the result the team now stands at 2-6-2 on the season and 0-3-1 in Liberty District play. Senior keeper Gene Yim was huge in goal once again coming up with 20 saves on the night.
The Bulldogs turn around and play again Wednesday night as the host Briar Woods at 7:30 in a double header with the girls. The girls kick off at 5:30.
