The Stone Bridge boys soccer team hosted Briar Woods on Wednesday night at came away with the a hard fought 1-0 win. Sophomore midfielder Denzel Saraka scored off a throw-in from Garrett Nekic with 29:24 to play in the second half to help propel the Bulldogs to the victory. Senior goalkeeper Gene Yim made 11 saves on the night to pick up his second shutout on the season. With the win the Bulldogs now stand at 3-6-2 on the season and are off until next Tuesday when the travel to McLean in an important Liberty District match.
