The Stone Bridge boys soccer team traveled to James Madison Friday night in a key Liberty District game and came away with a 3-0 in overtime win.  The hard fought contest ended in regulation tied 0-0.  Junior Michael Morningstar scored in the first OT period after collecting a pass from Senior Pete Whelpley and driving the ball over the Madison goalkeeper and into the net. A minute later Michael Mornngstar earned a penalty kick being taken down on a through ball in the box.  Pete Whelpley converted the PK putting the Bulldogs up 2-0.  Sophomore Aman Mangalmurti score the final goal off an assist by Junior Auguste Spencer.  Junior Goal Keeper Abe Yoslov (10 saves) along with defenders Luke Scheirling, Tommy Dunne, Ben Jamison, and Brad Wood kept the Warhawks off the scoreboard for the Bulldogs 3rd straight shutout.  The team is now 3-1-2 on the season and 2-1 in the Liberty District. 
The next game is an away match against non-district Concorde opponent Robinson on Tuesday, April 5th at 7:30.
