The Stone Bridge Bulldogs traveled to Thomas Jefferson on in the final Liberty District regular season game Thursday night and came away with a 1-1 tie. After battling for 77 minutes and through a 30 minutes delay due to weather, the Bulldogs scored first off a throw-in from Junior Forward Eamon Finan who found Senior Garrett Nekic for the go ahead goal. TJ tied the game with 6 seconds to go in regulation off a corner kick. The Bulldogs had an apparent go ahead goal in the first overtime called back on an offside call the remainder of the overtime periods saw both teams coming close to finishing but could not break through. Senior keeper Gene Yim had another solid night in goal for the Bulldogs coming up with 7 saves in the game.

With the tie the Bulldogs finish the regular season with a 3-7-4 overall record and a 0-4-3 Liberty District record. The team travels to South Lakes on Monday to play in the first round of the Liberty District tournament. Game time TBA.
