The Stone Bridge boys soccer team hosted its first home game of the year taking on the Fairfax Rebels. The boys dropped a hard fought game 2-0. The Rebels took an early lead scoring in the first 12 minutes but the Bulldogs and junior keeper Tyler Martin held strong to keep the score at 1-0 going into halftime.
The second half saw the Bulldogs pushing forward creating several scoring opportunities but only to come up a bit short in the final third. Fairfax scored with just over 5 minutes to play to put the game out of reach. With the loss the team falls to 1-3 on the year and will travel to take on Langley on Friday.
