The Stone Bridge Bulldogs hosted Marshall in a non-conference ?match on Monday and saw both team battle to a 1-1 tie.
The score was 0-0 at the Half but the Bulldogs broke through with a goal from Junior Forward Omar Rosario at the 18 minute mark of the second half off a corner kick. Marshall responded very quickly equalizing two minutes later.
Both teams battled through regulation and the two overtimes to settle with a draw. Sophomore Ross Mourtizen made four saves on the night with his second start in goal. The Bulldogs had 9 shots on goal to Marshall's 5.
With the tie Stone Bridge record stands at 1-8-2 on the season and is off until next Tuesday when the team travels to Broad Run for its second Conference 14 match. The boys and girls teams will play at Broad Run.
