The Stone Bridge Boys soccer traveled to Freedom HS for the first round of Conference 14 play on Wednesday and the Bulldogs who were down 1-0 on the half scored three second half goals to win 3-1. Senior midfield captain Griffin Cyphers tied the score off corner kick played in to the box from sophmore Michael Scully. Junior Brett Smedley got the game winning goal following up a shot from Griffin Cyphers and then junior Omar Rosario iced the game with a well place shot from 12 yards away from goal off a great assist from freshman Alex Corado. Tyler Martin was solid in goal and the back four stayed strong to pick up a key Conference win. The Bulldogs now travel on Friday to take on Broad Run in the Conference Semi-finals.
