Ashburn Patch was on the scene as the Stone Bridge varsity football team came away with a 35-20 win over Madison on a cold and rainy night last Friday. The Bulldogs overcame some costly turnovers and a determined effort by the Warhawks--and they're enthusiastically costumed student cheering section--to maintain their unbeaten Liberty District record. Stephen Trivieri was the Bulldogs workhorse yet again, carrying the ball nearly 40 times for more than 150 yards. The Bulldogs will look to wrap up yet another district champiosnhip this Friday at Fairfax.
