Virginia Beach - The Bulldogs claimed a 6th place team finish in the final state standings with a total of five All-State wrestlers. Stone Bridge set two school records with scoring 101 points in the state tournament and earning its highest finish in school history.
Ten wrestlers advanced from the regional tournament, and nine of those ten wrestlers were able to win matches at the state tournament, another school record.
Senior Nic Dimond became Stone Bridge's first ever 4x state placer winner! Jonathan Korte was the first Bulldog to reach the finals since Charlie Lausten won a title in 2021. Congratulations to all of our state place winners:
106 Moose Reichow (Frosh.) 5th
132 Nic Dimond (Sr.) 4th
144 Daniel Pedralvez (Jr.) 3rd
157 Will Brooks (Soph.) 4th
175 Jonathan Korte (Sr.) 2nd
The Bulldogs are poised for another strong campaign in 2024-25 as they return 9 of 14 starters from this year's squad.
