Field hockey went 2 and 0 in our opening week, with two hard-fought wins against tough opponents. Our season opener against Woodgrove went into overtime with Norah Otto scoring the goal to tie the game and Emily Paulson scoring the winning goal in OT. For our home opener against Freedom, we took the lead early on, with Norah Otto and Avery Moon scoring goals to put us up 2-0. After a goal by Freedom in the second half, we went into defensive mode and managed to hold the lead and win the game!
