Biography:
Kathleen Wheaton, Junior Varsity Volleyball Coach, 9th year -
Coach Wheaton is a native of Jourdanton, Texas. This year will mark her 16th year of coaching youth volleyball. Her club coaching experience (5 years) is with Northern Virginia Volleyball Association, as well as being a select coach (7 years) and one of the founding board members for the Loudoun Youth Volleyball Program. She is also a volleyball clinic instructor for LCPRCS at the middle & high school levels. Kathleen attended Jourdanton High School and was a four sport varsity athlete, competing in volleyball, basketball, track & cross country. While attending Texas Lutheran College on scholarships, she played volleyball & ran track. Kathleen is a 21 year resident of Ashburn Farm with her husband, Jim; they have 3 children: Jenny -26 (a SBHS Volleyball alumni), Brian -23 (a SBHS Baseball alumni) and Matthew - 17 (a senior at SBHS).
