There will be a golf team pre-season informational meeting at 7 pm on June 28, 2023, at Brambleton Golf Course, at or near the covered area next to the pro shop. Prospective team members and parents are invited to learn more about the Bulldog Golf Team, the 2023 season and to meet Coach Mjoness.

Green Days:  Green Days are scheduled in July for prospective team members to get out and have some fun prior to tryouts.  Green Days will be available to first come first served sign-ups, by contacting Coach Mjoness at mlmjoness@aol.com and indicating your interest.  You will receive an email note back from Coach Mjoness confirming your sign-up or indicating the roster is full.   Each Green Day will be able to accommodate 12 students.   Green Days are scheduled as follows:

-  July 3, 2023, at Tap In Golf in Leesburg, VA from 3 pm to 5 pm.  Cost is $10 per student

-  July 17, 2023, at Tap In Golf in Leesburg, VA from 3 pm eto 5 pm.  Cost is $10 per player.

-  July 19, 2023, at Algonkian Regional Park Golf Course in Sterling, VA from 2 pm till finished ( you may pay for 9 or 18 holes but indicate which you are doing at signup and please be at the course at least 30 minutes before our tee times to warm up and practice putting.  Cost will be around $20 to walk the course plus money for any range balls you may want to hit prior to the round.

-  July 20, 2023, at Brambleton Golf Course from 2 pm.  Info is the same as above for Algonkian.

DO NOT Sign up for Green Days if you have not completed your team paperwork including completion of your physical fitness physical and documentation 

TRYOUTS:  Tryouts will be conducted at the following times and locations:

-  July 31, 2023, at 1757 GC, beginning with a first tee time of 5 pm.  Please be at the course at least 45 minutes early to warm up and practice putting.   This will be a 9 hole round of golf.

-  August 3, 2023, at 1757 GC, beginning at 3:30 pm.  Please be at the course at least 45 minutes early to warm up and practice putting.   This will be a 9 hole round of golf.

-  August 4, 2023, at  Brambleton GC, beginning at 5:20 pm.   Please be at the course by 4:30 to warm up and practice putting.   This will be our final 9 hole round.    Team selection will take place immediately after this round of play.

As with Green Days, all paperwork will need to be turned in prior to any student being able to participate in a tryout day.  A missed day of tryouts because paperwork is not completed will count as one of your three tryout days.
