Stone Bridge places second at meet and eight qualify for the regionals.
Several Stone Bridge wrestlers performed well enough this weekend to move on to the regional competition after the Bulldogs scored second place behind Langley at Saturday’s Liberty District championship meet in McLean.

Stone Bridge High School wrestlers collected seven of a possible 14 individual titles to lead the host Bulldogs to the team championship in the first annual VivaLoudoun Holiday Wrestling Tournament Dec. 30 in Ashburn.

Stone Bridge WIns First Annual VivaLoudoun Holiday Tournament

Ashburn (Dec. 31, 201010) - Host Stone Bridge High School, capturing seven of 14 title matches, won the first annual VivaLoudoun Holiday Wrestling Tournament Thursday.
The Bulldogs scored 245 points in the five-team tournament that featured all three Ashburn high schools with Broad Run second at 202. Kettle Run was third at 176 followed by Herndon (102) and Briar Woods (69).
